This is so great! Remids me of my favorite faerie\gnome - the Red Cap - from scandinavian (as i remember but not sure...) mythology! :)

Well, it is in fact a Red Cap as seen through the eyes of Paizo's Pathfinder RPG universe. It was a fun one for sure :)

Don't take this as criticism but he looks strikingly similar to the Redcap in D&D. Better though because without a maw of over-sized teeth he looks a bit more wholesome.

Well, this was for Paizo and their Pathfinder universe which is build on the open gaming license for Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 Edition. Some of the monsters have changed under Paizo's art direction and some, like the Redcap have stayed true to D&D. They gave me reference to stick to when I did this new illustration for the adventure module.

And it turned out exceptionally well. Looking through your gallery it seems some of your miniature designs and images have been used in Wizards' new 4e stuff.
