Hida Kaiji

I designed and illustrated the new monstrous character, Hida Kaiji (Crab Clan), for this new set of L5R cards. Hida Kaiji needed to be 20 feet tall, mutated, yet retaining some of his humanity. It was any interesting challenge to work on! I produced a total of 3 Hida Kaiji cards for this set.

Yes, he wields a might tetsubo made from a tree, the perfect weapon for dealing with Oni. As listed in the description it is for Legends of the Five Rings, L5R, a CCG set in a fictional Medieval Asian setting.
